About this product
The Kurzzeitkennzeichen is a temporary German licence plate valid for a maximum of 5 days. It is specifically intended for short journeys, such as test drives or transferring a vehicle to an inspection station. The white plate is recognisable by the yellow stripe on the right-hand side, which displays the expiry date (shown as day, month and year).
The Kurzzeitkennzeichen is issued including third-party liability insurance. This allows you to legally use the vehicle on the road, fully insured, for the duration of its validity, without the vehicle requiring a permanent registration.
